Senior District Executive
Concho Valley District
Stacy McGuire
Stacy began her Scouting journey in 1980 as a Girl Scout, where she discovered her love for the outdoors through canoeing, junior lifeguarding, and backpacking. As a youth, she served on her council’s Outdoor Operating Committee, supported her troop as an Assistant Troop Leader, and earned the Girl Scout Silver Award.
After graduating from Angelo State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Government, Stacy continued her commitment to youth leadership by serving in multiple adult roles within her three daughters’ Girl Scout troops. Her passion for developing strong outdoor skills and supporting volunteer-led programs led her to join the Girl Scouts professionally, where she served for a decade.
Stacy’s involvement with Scouting America began in 2010 when her son entered the program. What started with helping at his Pack soon grew into deeper service: training outdoor skills for the district, enjoying the fellowship of Wood Badge, trekking the backcountry of Philmont, and ultimately serving as Advisor for Venturing Crew 332.
In 2020, Stacy began her professional service with Scouting America as a District Associate. She looks forward to continuing her work supporting volunteers, strengthening unit programs, and helping grow Scouting across the communities she serves.
