Sol Mayer Society

Camp Sol Mayer and the Texas Southwest Council have created memories for thousands of West Texas Scouts over the last 80 years. The Texas Southwest Council would like to continue this legacy long into the future ensuring camp operations, high-quality camping facilities, and outdoor adventures are available to all Scouts and guests for generations to come. Through the establishment of a permanently restricted camp endowment fund, stakeholders can help cover Camp Sol Mayer’s & Texas Southwest Council’s annual operating costs without ever decreasing permanent gifts made to this fund. The Sol Mayer Society is a recognition program for permanently restricted endowment gifts made to the Sol Mayer Society Endowment Fund held at the San Angelo Area Foundation. Contributions can be made to Texas Southwest Council or directly to the Sol Mayer Society Endowment Fund.

Endowment Giving Levels:

1945 Member – $19.45 per month to the restricted Sol Mayer Endowment Fund continuously until donor stops

• Recognition: Camp Sol Mayer patch

Bronze – $1,200 to the restricted Sol Mayer Endowment Fund

• $100 per month continuously until the donor stops or one-time gift of $1,200
• Recognition: Sol Mayer Society lapel pin

Silver – $6,000 to the restricted Sol Mayer Endowment Fund

• $100 per month continuously until donor stops or one-time gift of $6,000
• Recognition: Sol Mayer Society lapel pin & medallion

Gold – $15,000 to the restricted Sol Mayer Endowment Fund

• $250 per month continuously until donor stops or one-time gift of $15,000
• Recognition: Sol Mayer Society lapel pin & medallion

Platinum – $25,000 to the restricted Sol Mayer Endowment Fund

• $416.66 per month continuously until donor stops or one-time gift of $25,000
• Recognition: Sol Mayer Society lapel pin & medallion

Planned Giving Levels:

San Saba River Lifetime Member = $50,000 donated over 5 years

• Cash or Planned Gift includes 10-year naming rights.
• Recognition: Sol Mayer Society lapel pin & medallion

Edwin S. Mayer Lifetime Member = $100,000 donated over 5 years

• Cash or Planned Gift includes 25-year naming rights.
• Recognition: Sol Mayer Society lapel pin & medallion

Mr. & Mrs. Soloman Mayer Lifetime Member = $250,000 donated over 5 years

• Cash or Planned Gift includes Lifetime naming rights.
