
Our History
Texas Southwest Council has been serving the Southwest Texas area since our inception in May 20,1926. We have been proud to have served the 23 ½ Counties from Fort Stockton to San Angelo, Ballinger, Junction, Uvalde, Carrizo Springs, Eagle Pass, Del Rio and Sanderson! We have had over 3500 Eagle Scouts spread along our borders.
A Year of Celebration
Throughout the year we will be having celebrations throughout our communities in South & West Texas, every Scouting Alumni is invited to come and attend! Who is Scouting Alumni? If you were a Scout, Explorer, Venturer, Sea Scout, Adult Volunteer, District or Council Volunteer, Charter Organization, or involved in Scouting in anyway or impacted by Scouting! You are a Scouting Alumni!

A Year of Service
As Scouts, one of our tenants is to serve our community. We are partnering with local community organizations to make our community impact greater than ever! All you need to do is to support them is to come to one of the following: Attend an Alumni Event, deliver items to your unit meeting, participate in a service project, and/or deliver your items to the organization.
